Svaha: the time between seeing lightning and hearing the thunder
You can engage in work that springs from your deepest understanding of what’s true for you and who you really are. Work that rewards you with a sense of deep personal satisfaction, natural confidence, and the financial stability you want and need.
Wherever you are, whether you’re looking for the next step or considering a completely new direction, you can find, create, and enjoy work that makes you feel good, that puts a bounce in your step and a smile on your face. Work that you’ll fall in love with.
And you can discover what a full, rich, rewarding experience your life can really be.
I’m Grace Judson. I have over 25 years in the corporate world, advancing to corporate officer rank in my mid-30s and to Senior Management not long after.
I have a deep understanding of what it takes to be successful as a corporate professional, in companies large and small.
I know what it’s like to do a complete career switch at the corporate level.
And I know what it means to fly solo in my own business — including the sometimes-amazing personal work that’s often required.
Your work doesn’t have to be drudgery. It doesn’t have to be “almost” what you want. You’re not selfish to dream about something more, and you can close the gap between what you’re doing now, and what you’re capable of — what you want.
You can be in love with what you do.
You can make a good living doing it.
And you can integrate your work and your life into a natural experience of wholeness, a richer experience of life, instead of compartmentalized segments.
Whether you’re currently in or seeking a corporate position, or you’re a self-employed small businessperson — or maybe you’re not even sure what your situation is! — I invite you to sign up for my biweekly Svaha Concepts newsletter.
It’s filled with simple yet thought-provoking ideas about steps you can take today to understand more about yourself, your relationship to your work and your thoughts about work, and to bring more of yourself — your integrity, values, and heart — to everything you do.
No matter what choices you’re facing, a sense of steadiness and confidence about what’s happening now allows you the spaciousness you need to look around and explore options. Readiness to look at what’s next is grounded in understanding where you currently are.
You’ll also receive my gift to you, a workbook called Your Work: perfect fit, or misfit? It will guide you through a step-by-step process of evaluating your current relationship with work. You’ll easily be able to pinpoint the things that are missing from your work today, and what you want in the future. The information you’ll gather from the workbook’s process will help you make your current work more enjoyable, and will help you understand what you need from future employment to be happier and more successful.
Sign up and get both the most recent article and the workbook right away!
